Wanting to waste a little time in one of my classes, I decided to draw some simplified flags on the board and say where they are each from. So with my black marker I drew a simple Korean flag with the yin-yang sign in the centre and four sets of three lines around it. But the children were like "NO!!! That's wrong! Teacher, let me show you!" I'm just like "uh, it's just a simplified drawing... Americans don't get so upset if I misrepresent the number of stars or stripes..." |
