Day's Slideshow from Busan, Korea
May 5th is Children's Day in Korea and everyone gets the day off to spend time with their children. I decided that
today would be a great chance to escape Gimhae and visit the Eulsukdo Bird Sancturay in Busan at the mouth of the
Nakdong River. |

This park just north of the bird sanctuary is full of families enjoying the
beautiful spring weather.

This gate depicts fish, geese, and a small sail boat.

The bird sanctuary features a small museum and indoor observation platform. The southern half of the island is not
open to tourists. But there was still plenty of open park space for people to play various sports and have picnics.
You couldn't have asked for a better day. |
