I draw a nice scene on the board to help my class learn English instructions: Take the black cat to the blue car, drive across the river by going over the bridge, return black cat to the green building, and take a cab/taxi to the black truck. It worked pretty well, until one student erased the board before class, requiring me to draw a similar scene.
