Today, all the fifth and sixth graders were out on field trip. So, while I was wasting my non-class time, I was playing Uno with a few younger kids who were there. Honestly, I did not have anything else to do at the time. That and it did provide them a little opportunity to speak/listen in English, which they do need more of. While playing the game, I would try to get them to laugh and would just be silly with them. I could see the director's wife watching some and she was laughing at my silly interaction with them. It was great to have some fun with the kids, and it's always good to keep ones employers happy. |
