Drivin' Home
09:49 Slight Detour
As Grandpa and I started south on US 250 and we came upon OH 2. I jokingly asked if we wanted to go to/toward Cleveland. After a quick assessment of the time the detour would take, we agreed to quickly go see Cleveland.
I-90 in western Cleveland. I really like their medians.
A curve that should never have been conceived. This curve is a relic from either 1950s poor engineering or pre-Interstate simple engineering. It really ruined the flow of traffic (though there was only us at this time).
Unsatisfied with the views we were getting of downtown, we continued on I-90 rather than taking our crucial exit onto I-490 to I-77 to home. When we realised ~15 miles later in Euclid that we missed I-77 all together, we agreed that we might as well just continue onto I-271 down to I-77.
11:43 Lunch-time Exploration
For launch, we got off I-77 in Marietta. After launch, we continued away from the Interstate until we found this bridge to West Virginia.
Just to end the suspense, the road took us back to I-77, thankfully.
14:30
Overall, we drove 1,473.1 miles!
